Are SHE hair straighteners really as good as your GHD’s? Chosing hair straighteners can be a rather daunting task, especially when there are so many straighteners out there on the market! So ghd v’s she, which one would we as stylists recommend?

Well ghd, are without a doubt the market leaders and have been for as long as I have been in this industry! And you just need to take a look at their website (ghd) to see they stand for trend setters, elegance, and a cut above the rest! And lets face it anyone who is anyone owns a pair of the latest ghds!!!! It’s all about image. But the one downside to all this glamour is the price tag. And let’s face it not all of us can afford to spend £100+ on something that we may well only use once a week (see ghd official site for price guide).

So what about she straighteners? Well in our opinion, the box does not look as glamourous but who cares about that? Not me! Some customers have said that they are not quite as smooth on your hair but others have said they are better than their old ghds! And for £51  they are excellent value for money & even our stylists have done half a head with ghds and half with she’s and you really can’t tell the difference!!! They even work on thick, coarse hair, which is testimony to just how good these irons really are!

So our advice to you would be, if image is everything to you then raid your piggy bank and get the ghds, but if you’ve got your practical head on & just want an equally decent straightner that doesn’t come with the flash box then go for the shes, you really will not regret it!
